About the Role
Hollingsgate Recruitment is seeking highly skilled System Administrators
(one Windows specialist and one Linux specialist) with a deep understanding of technology and automation to join a project with a major bank. This contract role involves a comprehensive cleanup of Identity Access Management (IAM) as part of a Mandatory Remediation Action (MRA) to enhance cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate processes for reviewing and updating ACLs, user permissions, and root system accounts across platforms.
- Develop and implement automated password rotation systems using CyberArk.
- Create and execute scripts for Active Directory audits and comprehensive scan-based audits.
- Design and automate management strategies for privileged accounts and service accounts across 40 applications.
Technical Environment
- Work Setting: Fully remote, involving both physical and virtual servers (VMs).
- Tools and Systems: CyberArk for account management, Qualys for potential security reporting (availability not guaranteed across all systems), and ServiceNow for processing entries into CyberArk.
Requirements
General Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Windows or Linux (depending on the role).
- Extensive experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Deep understanding of CyberArk for account management.
- Proven experience in automating Active Directory audits.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IAM policies and remediation practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently create and implement automated solutions in a remote setting.
Specific Requirements for Linux Candidates:
Minimum requirements include at least one of the following:
- Python scripting
- Puppet or Ansible OS management
- Experience managing or implementing CyberArk or another PAM tool
- Managed or implemented AWS Control Tower / CloudFormation (CfCT)
Specific Requirements for Windows Candidates:
Minimum requirements include at least two of the following:
- Python or PowerShell
- Managed or implemented Windows deployment with AutoPilot, SCCM, Ansible, or Puppet
- Managed AWS Workspaces or AWS IAM
- Managed Active Directory integration with Entra ID
- Experience managing or implementing CyberArk or another PAM tool
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: Up to $90 per hour
- Payroll: Managed payroll with timely and accurate processing
